If that doesn't work, use MSI afterburner or something like that and undervolt/underclock your gpu to see if that keeps it cool enough.
And ofc make sure your case has proper airflow.
And he obviously having issues so :D
Mine shut the PC off after reaching 120+ :-)
And the best way to have less a strain on your hardware is to simply Cap FPS below what you PC can do.
My 3080 highest gpu temp is 76C but the gpu's hotspot has gotten as high as 97C.The hotspot temp can be anywhere on the gpu itself and a sensor is picking it up.
90C on the gpu sensor itself is crazy high since most gpus throttle at around 83C
The game isnt magic. It cant make your video card use more than 100% of its utilization. If your card cant handle 100% utilization due to heat, then improve your cooling and clean your stuff. Your card is designed to handle 100% utilization. If youre overclocked then you did it wrong. If youre not then you need to organize and improve cooling.
90+ with a 13th/14th gen Intel probably means over 1.4v to the vcore, or on default settings closer to 1.6. Thats RMA your chip in a few months levels. If its not overvolting then you simply have inadequate cooling. AMD is similar but not quite as hot as the current gen intels. You shouldnt let your CPUs sit over 90C for extended periods. It can handle the heat but current gens are power hungry and you can cause other long term issues due to the wattage and amp draw.
Jesus christ, people should just block straight up anyone that tells them this crap.
It IS a big deal if your hardware goes to skyrocket to 90+°.
And that is not normal at all. If the core is at 90+ then the vRams are even higher, near to the point of break.
My Sapphire Nitro 6800 XT SE never reach over 40°-45 under high stress.. and is not even liquid cooled...
If those are "noramlly" your temps, there are some serious issues with your cooling system. Get some measure before it is too late and it will break.
