Controls Suck

I really like the game and wanted to love it but the controls are just awful. Maybe some have diff opinions but for me its a pass..

I totally agree with you. Healing on a controller is God awful and my god. Who designed this. I get wanting to be different. Please for the love of God take the transition from controller to keyboard away when you're just typing. Like how does ff14 perfect controller play and yet no one else can even try to make comfortable controls close to it. Might as well learn keyboard and mouse because controller is just a mess for trying to heal and battle.

jesus christ get out of here with this tired ass old argument, newsflash, people play games with controllers. get over it, it happens and telling someone over and over no matter what game it is "wHo ThE hElL pLaYs An MmO oN a CoNtRoLlEr AnYwAyS????? hur dur.... just stop, not everyone like keyboard and mouse, some games work extreeeeemely well with a controller, FF14 would love a word.... you arent showing how much more 1337 you are by using a keyboard and mouse. how about instead of saying who is and isnt in the minority, how about we just let folks play the games they want to play how they want to play them.

Settings > Options > Shortcuts > Have fun

V default hotkey to switch between modes i believe

I wondered what retarded comment I'd see on steam today and this takes the cake. FFXI has had controller and KB/M support for 22 years and FFXIV has had it since it's inception and lets not forget about Phantasy Star Online which was a console mmo and only later on released on windows, but the only minority here are the people that lack the intelligence to do a google search before they put their foot in their mouth. the targeting is awful for me. Breaking my combat pace most of the time.

Just started playing and the controls on keyboard and mouse feels horrible. Attack should be left mouse and block right mouse. I've mapped out my controller but that isn't great either. Feels like an 2000s mmo Vs 3rd person shooter mashed together.

As I said on another thread. The controls and combat in this game are one of the reasons and many others stopped playing after completing the main story.
