I can't imagine that it has a negative effect on PVP. In the sandbox game "Albion", which is full PVP, the healers don't disturb the balance.
Due to the self-heal of the DD and tanks, it seems more likely that the game has been designed from the outset for gameplay without healers.
If you look at some of the other games like ESO and NW, healing causes a lot of stagnant issues in the pvp combat. Especially ESO. It didn't feel like that at all during tech test pvp which was refreshing. Obviously game has changed since tech test and might change more, so who knows, I guess.
Dont like trinity? Great! Enjoy the game! Just dont ask a year later for some diverse content since everything will be just zerg and more zerg. No one special, no one is unique, just a dps race to the bottom.
Tank,Heal,DD but I don't really see healers here maybe that will change in the endgame?
I've been playing Healer a lot lately and am actually missing playing DPS, so if T&L has a healing class that's more DPS than usual, I'll be pretty happy about that. Although I understand how people would want a dedicated and active healing role.
From what I've read and heard, sounds like Wand/Bow or Wand/Dagger are good Support/DPS mixtures. The Wand seems to have 2 Healing skills and I think I read that the Bow has some kind of HoT/Regen or something.
Or you do it like in LostArk with a few buffs that you can distribute.
As it is now, it doesn't really convince me yet, but I haven't played it myself because Amazon is sleeping here.
So I can only assume streams.
Of course the healer will be important, but other classes can also heal, the question is whether a second skill healer is enough or whether you really need a main healer later on, but then he won't have many more healing options.
Yes, but with extremely high coldowns, like everything that can heal.
Ka in how far you can press the CD or what set bonuses there are for it.
But somehow the whole thing doesn't look well thought out.
But as I said, I haven't been able to play it myself yet.
If I want to play a healer, I want to heal and not primarily do dmg.
I was actually looking forward to T&L. But I won't start it without a healer class. And I'm certainly not going to check every now and then to see if it's been properly repaired. For me it's a stillbirth.

Then they've still got their AOE full party heal and single target defensive.
It's a siege PVP game. Hundreds of players on your screen at the same time. If everyone could spam heal like WoW it would be the worst PVP imagineable. No one would ever die.
The bites were referring to NW (New World) and that you can't fix everything by implementing new weapons.
You only have 2 heal spells and if they have CD you can go AFG or do DMG until they are rdy again. And I don't play a healer because I want to DMG.
You clearly haven't played Throne & Liberty and are just being a nerd theory crafting about something that other people are actively playing. Healing is fun. Healers have a major role in the game. None of it plays like a standard MMO. Tanking is different as well. Different doesn't mean bad. It just means you have to learn a new way to play a game.
Go spend $15 bucks and get a verified NC account and ExitLag and try it for yourself then come back and share your thoughts.
I only judge in endgame with endgame gear anyway, as you say it plays differently, but if it degenerates like in wow 80% you do damage as a healer, I wouldn't like that either, but let's see.
