Means the very 1st Vampire is nearly immune to everything that could hurt all following generations and already the 2nd generation he creates is weaker to these things. Vampires from the 2nd generation that create an 3rd generation are also weaker to these things and this goes so on all the time.
But in fact this leaves the big question the how maniest generation of Vampires Kain belongs to due simple water alone can hurt/kill him.
In SR1 every Vampire developed his own style over the years and everyone had his own special ability that made him unique. Cus basicly all 7 (former Seraphan) Lieutnants where created by Kain they all should belong to the same next generation and have the same powers/abilities/etc that Kain had but in a weaker form. Instead of this everyone developed his own (what was kind of a bad thing for Raziel in the end).
Cus my last playing of SR1 is way to long i don´t remember the name but 1 Vampire Lieutnant developed an immunity to water over the years, while the other Vampires still get hurt or can die when they come into contact with the water
As a tradeoff, Kain is unhurt by the sunlight, it only slightly weakens him.
How heavy was that rock you were under?
