Blood Omen 2 Full Controller Support (DS4 & Xbox)

The profile is now version 2.0. The profile is titled: Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2 (Dualshock4 v.2), and is made by life is dank. I will not support any profile that copies mine and is not authored by me.

This updated profile fixes issues since the SIAPI update in 2018, and also adds a couple new extras.

I've made Dualshock 4 and Xbox profiles for Blood Omen 2 if you want to play, configure, pause, and otherwise operate everything in the game from boot-up to exit with nothing but a controller.

The profile can be imported in Big Picture Mode under the game specific Controller Settings. The import process can also be done in-game with the Big Picture Mode overlay. Details into any other steps needed in order for the profile to work will be noted.

*NEW* Requires the installation of a DirectInput8 wrapper since the change from Steam Controller API into Steam Input API (as of 2018).

Notes:

• This profile assumes you are using the default keyboard keybinds.
  
• You must disable the Gamepad Camera in the control settings. If you don't Kain will be always be facing down. The game does not remember this setting so you must set it every time you boot it up.
  
• You must clear the Enter key from the keyboard bindings. Clear it using the Del or Backspace keys.
  
• You have to manually assign the face and shoulder buttons using the in-game controls menu to the following: X=Jump, Square=Action/Attack, Triangle=Feed, Circle=Use Dark Gift, R1=Camera Look, R2=Auto Lock, L1=Dark Gift Menu, L2=Block.

Features:

• DS4 controllers will have the LED turn blood-red for the duration of bloodsucking.
  
• Touch-pad will allow you to temporarily change your LED bar into a Blood Omen 2 themed color during gameplay.

Can you help me out here. Kinda lost on the settings part.

I followed all the steps, but am confused on the part where I have to manually assign the controls from the in-game controls menu. Does in-game means the game control settings in the game?
I try to assign the buttons but most of them are not recognized in-game. help me out here will you.

Unzip it, drop the dinput.dll into the Blood Omen 2 folder.

Ah, I did that. Didn't work. I thought that's why it wasn't working. Can't bind anything. I think it recognises some buttons while in gamepad and keyboard mode, but not keyboard mode.
Edit: Never mind. That's stopped working since configuring my Xbox 360 controller through big screen mode.

Second edit: Doesn't matter. I'm trying the default gamepad support the game has, and it's working fine. I just can't bind L or R (but can with LB and RB), nor can I bind the d-pad, and I also can't pause or navigate the menus, but I do that with the keyboard/mouse. It's more than playable as I have enough buttons.
