I fully get what you're saying, and we are in no way trying to dumb down the game or remove the challenge! It's just that some of these things either felt unfair (Victor's Army) or was too bullet spongy and unnecessarily extended the battles to the point that it became boring to play (Sentinel). The Sentinel's attacks are still just as powerful as they used to be, he just has less health. And if you want him to have more health, just play on difficult mode, I guarantee you'll find his bossfight, as well as the rest of the game very challenging then.
Bug 1: it is the second time I get stuck on a house courtyard roof after jumping.
Bug 2: Reload bar UI stays on screen, it disappeared after i changed weapon or something but definitely got stuck on screen until I started to spam commands.
Bug 3: That was not today but earlier this week, when you go for the boss you can chose to either skip or face the boss, if you skip the boss you lose your reward, but the first and only time I chose to skip the boss I still had all my rewards, skills, currency and crafting stuff.
Movement: nice in general it is very dynamic but invisible walls are annoying, it is ok once you get used to it but bumping on a step for example is annoying, especially when you have to do some parcour to jump from on cliff to another. You might fall because of that and even if you do not lose a lot of health it is still irritating.
Suggestion 1: I see that you can combine some skills together, would be nice to have a tome or something that list all the skills and show the combination once you have discovered them once.
Suggestion 2: feed achievement list, there are plenty that can be done and I understand it s not a priority. I was wondering why do we have the option to unequip the eye that makes you see ennemies highlighted with different colors. Maybe you can add achievement for complete a world without having this eye equipped.
good game keep up the good work.
yes I agree boss should be more important, it just feels like we are getting suffocated by mobs just to reach the boss which themselves are not that dangerous. for example you can stay close to them and just run around without having to fear some melee attack that would punish the exploit. It is good to have mobs supporting the boss but it feels repetitive and an easy / lazy solution to make it harder than normal levels.
If VSync is not enabled, the GPU will always be worked to its limits and will produce as many frames as it can. The game does NOT require this much GPU power to run optimally.
As for the RAM usage, this is clearly indicated by our system requirements and is a byproduct of high resolution textures. If this bothers you, reduce the detail level in the options menu to use less RAM.
Just switching to DX11 uses half.
Hey there! Yes, we are aware of this issue and we're already investigating it. Thanks for reporting!
In the end you need sales to eat.
Playing the game it feels like a 6 to me, the things I think that make it a 10 are a lot more enemies, more powers for me, more surviveability. Just a lot more mayhem. I would start with Doom and go up from there, this should be wall to wall omg within your arena's, more going on in them and more time in them. When I'm playing rouge-lites, I'm looking for undeniable fun, build up and just things over the top. Those games that make you trickle through, I look away. My suggestion, nothing more.
increase the defiler range because right now it is a pain to hit enemies afar and the flying ones.
Add a book that catalogues ALL the earned updates and the powers evolutions.
Give the first end level boss an AOE to punish the exploit when I am getting close to him and running around him shooting stay on his back.
Notes:
Also I find the dash that slows down ennemies and projectile super powerful.
Another thing, would it be a good idea to increase an ability potency by stacking it? Otherwise I feel like by the end of the first level I already have 2 or 3 abilities selected and nothing really pushes me to ever change them, no even the higher lvl weapons with affinity perks.
I wanted to say that the word "symptoms" seems to be misspelled in the Photo sensitivity warning upon game launch. It says "symptomps"
New environments, levels, and enemies would all be welcome. Maybe you could add melee weapons that in turn would negate your dash space, but enable you to run a bit faster. Of course you don't want to break the game play loop that exists currently.
Another quick Idea could be to add a "storm" condition. This would be similar to "victor's army" getting rolled. Maybe there would be a cloud / fog layover on the environment. Have lightning hit that would damage everyone. Have it display a radius on the ground to where you could see where it will land before it actually does. You could try to use this to kite enemies into it at a risk of hurting yourself.
Your team has put love into this and it definitely shows. A solid game!
In the area before sentinel, i fall down, but maybe too much, i am glitched at the botton, so my run is lost. 2 time, i stop the game and wait the 1.0.
I before that, i dont got the portal for quit the area of pirate dealers ^^.
