Fun game so far! Looks nice too!

It kept crashing at first, after I got the latest GPU drivers it seemed fine (but could also be luck).

Runs smoothly on 1440p on my 1080ti + Ryzen 5600X, good job!

- Hitting a shot feels too forgiving, at first I thought I had auto-aim on. Hitting anything inside the crosshair feels off, especially for a revolver type of weapon.
- There was noticable texture popping when you enter a level, but I guess this will be polished out eventually.
- Not sure if enemies have weak spots or if headshots deal critical damage.
- The big tanky enemies are not that fun. They should at least show a tiny stagger animation when you hit them.
- Ragdoll on the small enemies is fun but a little too much.
- When explosive bullets are active, a different type of indicator should be shown for the ammo so the player knows the type of ammo.
- Kicking enemies seems more appropriate/fun than punching in this game. Especially since there is quite a bit of verticality.
- Allow dashing and jumping in the pre-game hub. It's annoying to be locked into walking.
- Invisible walls are bad, this includes objects that give the impression you can jump over them.
- Allow using the keyboard when selecting Essence. W-key = left, D-key = right, space=select

Ultimately, creating interesting combat mechanics will determine the fun factor of this game. For example, think of how Doom 2016/Eternal introduced "combat chess" or how gun upgrades in Returnal completely change combat. If you are only backpedalling in every room while the AI slowly walks towards you, it will get repetitive and boring very fast.

Hey there!

Some of these are already on our to-do list (eg. Essence selection with keys, aim assist options, pop-in) while others work in the intended way and will not be changed (eg. melee punch, we will also have additional perks tied to it).

Overall, useful stuff and we will definitely take them into consideration!

Thank you for your feedback!
