Is this game basically witchfire for Steam?
Not sure if many have played witchfire because its on Epic but this game looks quite alot like it both visually and in terms of gameplay.

I haven't played this one though - anyone that has played both able to draw any comparisons?

haven't played witch fire, witch fire sounded more like Destiny, I won't know until it comes to steam because after Epic pulled the plug on Unreal Tournament, even taking it off store shelves, I'm not giving them any of my money if I dont have to

witchfire is nothing like destiny. its more of a counter shooter than a shooter and its an extraction game that you have to chipaway at the ice. where as this is more of an arcade shooting gallery with some hesitation involved.

They complement each other. I play both and each has it s own strenght. To me they both capture the combat epicness of destiny 2 (which I have 2k hours in). But I agree with the previous user in the differences. Wichtfire is more exploratory and atmospheric. Soulsfire is pure roguelike arcade shooter.

If you can buy both, they are beautiful fun games.

Thanks!
That is a really helpful description and it sounds like they both offer different experiences.

Thanks for the info.
I definitely like the look of this one - i was just hesitant since i'd heard nothing about it and worried it was some clone / knockoff (because you see quite a few of them on steam these days for various games).

Sounds like this is its own thing and is worth playing.
