Thank you for your feedback! Could you please tell us what GPU you used that the game couldn't hold a stable 60 FPS even at the lowest settings? And what is your screen resolution? All this would be valuable information to us.
We are still working on the game though! My development PC has an RTX 3070Ti and I play in 2K with a silky-smooth 60FPS, so with all that in mind, it's best if you help us with as much information as possible so we can iron these issues out and deliver the best possible gaming experience!
Game looks lovingly made and I'll for sure keep an eye on it but I too experienced unbearable performance with settings turned down.
Razer Laptop with intel i7-11800h and mobile RTX 3070 (roughly 2080 desktop equivalent), 16GB ram and SSD.
I didn't expect amazing performance but it's super jitterry, fluctuating wildly between 20s and 50s.
Thank you for the feedback -- an update is coming for the demo, will see if it helps with this!
edit: (for anyone wondering)
CPU: i5 12600k
GPU: GTX 1070
Thank you for providing hardware info!!
A GTX 1070 is barely above our minimum requirements. We have tested with a GTX 1060 and that is for the absolute lowest settings.
At the moment, I am attempting to upload a fix for the demo, that should help with some of the stutters though, so stay tuned!
Thank you for the detailed info!!
Could you please tell me what resolution you played at and what settings you've turned down?
And I just identified what's causing this. It's a pretty strange bug, but is actually fixable on our end. Too bad we haven't noticed this before releasing the demo (and believe me, we've done extensive testing), but it IS going to get resolved real soon!
For reference I'm using a 1660 Super at 1080p. I know I'm at the lower end of GPU's but I can run Cyberpunk 2077 at good fps on pretty high settings. Good luck with your game though, I'll check back when you have updated!
To be fair though, this is an Unreal Engine 5 game, an 1660 will never run it at anything higher than the lowest settings. I am sorry, but that is just the reality of things, that is the hardware requirement of running any game made with this engine.
Appreciate the quick response. Its on my wishlist because I love the setting and it seems real cool. Just can't deal with the fps drops at this moment. Looking forward to EA and all that though :). Thanks again
Also same issue here.
Let you know that it works whith proton first.
Then for the requirments, i dont hit them (rx 6600 + r5 5600x) but, whith all in low, at the 30 mins of playing it becomes impossible (30-40 fps whith some drops whith all the settings to low)
Particles is a thing. in the cinematic of the souls portal i notice several fps drop for the second that the animation goes on
I love the concept and theres so much work on it, i just need it to be more playeable (in the performance)
