Anyone found a hammer to break the wall in the lift?

No. I was wondering about that as well. I found the rod to make it stop at level 2 but no sledge hammer . Either there is a new method being used or it will be found somewhere on the lowest level.

Yes, I guess the area with the egg is not accessible in the demo. In the original the hammer was located by the bicycle in the lighthouse. Possibly omitted in the demo or will be located elsewhere in the release version.

Where did you find the rod?

Sorry, I must have gotten confused between the old and the new versions, because I can't find the rod. I restarted the Demo just before entering the elevator and played until the end and I found no rod. It will be interesting to see what changes Microids made to the game.

It is there in the demo. Attached to the wall, just outside the lift (elevator) at the upper level.

I couldn't find it when I replayed from the elevator door because IT WAS ALREADY IN INVENTORY! So I've not totally lost my mind. I did find it.

IMHO they couldn't show the sledge hammer because they had to limit the exit of the Demo where it ended. I suspect it will exist in the full game.
