Prism dice use?
Can someone explain what prism dice do in this game? Maybe I'm just too early in the game to get any use out of them, but I got one once and I couldn't make any sense of it. I don't see anyone else discussing this, so it's probably something really simple but I don't get it.

Prism dice are used to reflect and amplify the effects of dice that target other spaces on the board, such as Boost and Mirror dice.

For example, if you place a Prism 2 on a space effected by a Boost 2, the Prism will act as a Boost 4 (adding its own value to the effect that it's amplifying) but with a range of 2. If the Prism is placed so that it targets the same space(s) that the Boost is targeting, their effects will stack.

Understandable.

One important and counterintuitive thing of note is that Prism Dice work with Terrain DIce. So if you put a Prism Dice with a value of 2 on a +2 Terrain Dice boosted Square, the Prism Dice will give a +4 Boost to all Dice that are 2 squares away from it.

Another very useful synergy for them is mirror dice. (Mentioned above, just expanding on it) If you put a prism die on one side with the mirror targeting it, all of the spaces the prism targets will be mirrored together. This lets you get several effects with one mirror each round, which is bonkers.

Yeah the game has very confusing descriptions.
