New ideas for Verbis Virtus 2 !! (present your ideas here)
This game to me , hands down, has the best voice recognition. I thought it would be a great idea to keep working and polishing the game mechanics so I came up with these ideas. Feel free to join.

1. My idea is to add virtual reality support. If you guys haven't seen it yet look up a game called "The Gallary: Six Elements" trust me, it will blow your mind. Imagine the possibilities with the smart voice recognition this game has!

2. I loved the idea of the "Tial Udah" spell so I want to improve it. Say I'm standing in front of a door with weird characters carved on it. I take out my spells dictionary book and translate those characters. Every time I read the words out loud, the words glow and if I get all of them right, the door opens. This will allow the opportunity to have multiple doors with different characters written in them and for those who get expert in the game, they can just read them without refering to the dictionary. This will add more immersion.

3. Improve the fighting system. For a puzzle game, the fighting system is too hard and unreliable so here is my idea to improve it.

Each enemy should have a weakness, for example, a firey slime should be weak against freezing and probably smashing it to pieces after that. A rinosorus-like creature chrges at you but he is armored except his bottom area which makes him weak to a land mine spell.

Combine spells. A water spell can create a pond which, then, can be frozen to create a slipery surface or electricuted to stun enemies.

So here are my ideas. What do you guys think?

An open world to roam around in, with lots of outdoor and indoor areas to explore, with puzzles to solve and enemies to fight. Then add in different uses for the same spell (ray of light to blind enemies, and so on) and a spell creation system. Also give much more lore about the world itself. Oh, and destructible terrain and structures.

So basically Oblivion or Skyrim with this spell casting system. Seriously, clicking a button to cast a spell feels so freaking un-immersive and outdated now.

This sounds cool to have an open world game like this. But I can't imagine it would be a success because with a small team they only can focus on few stuff. If they have to go for quantity of content then they have to sacrifice quality and that would be bad, don't you think?

When I played this game I felt power through my words and sometimes I shout a spell and wait a few seconts then unleash it with utter satisfaction. Now when I go back to Syrim I wish to cast my spells through words like I used to in this game.
mixing words to create new spells sounds awesome. I wouldn't go too overboard with enemy weaknesses, had a great deal of fun actually failing fights due to poor execution (stuttering and casting wrong spells xD) and not, it was not sarcastic :D.

Some battles were fun, some others were like, WHY THE ♥♥♥♥ DOSEN"T HE DIE!! and then you find out how to do it. It's like another puzzle each time you fight a boss; which was fun.

However others where extremely annoying to fight like those walking squid-like creatures which didn't want to quit chasing me! I mean, there is no fun in running in circles in a small room trying to shout "Atul Agni! Atul Agni!!!"

The game could use a lot of ideas to improve the fighting system to be more enjoyable, don't you think.
I thought it would be nice to either freeze the feet a little or shove them back with obee kenu, or just do the jedi pankake with a statue over them xD
