Try to put "--video-driver GLES2" as an launch argument.
This can be set on steam under library -> right click the game -> properties -> start options

Hey fantastic thank you! I wanted to play on my office PC which uses integrated graphics (no video card) and it is so old the processor only has OpenGL 3.0 support. Using this command line let me get the game running!

drivers are up to date. got an amd radeon rx 6900xt graphic card

nothing? would really like to play this game, but it does not work for me. if i start it i get always the same error message: unable to initialize video driver. your video card driver does not support any of the supported opengl versions. please update your drivers or if you have a very old or integrated GPU upgrad it.

I tried googling for OpenGL issues on AMD and found this. It suggests a few specific driver versions you might try. It seems OpenGL problems on AMD is a long standing issue. :(

installing the 22.5.2 driver helped to play this thank you. but its dumb amd messed it up somehow
