The rest of the game has been feeling more balanced to me, so maybe I've just been enjoying that. Reaper still could use some improvement and I think that's reflected in the skull badge feeling the least useful to me.
I wonder if it would be fair to allow a badge to change one of the subclass items to the badge's type. Probably too random and too potentially overpowered I guess...
Has anyone gotten two badges through the platinum card?
I don't think they're overly strong overall but you can get some pretty nutty results with certain class/badge combos (and, like, I might be totally wrong but it feels like getting the Pyro badge is a straight buff to most builds).
I feel like it either needs to be nerfed again or made to not be more likely to appear in early rounds like the other badges.
Other are fine, they can create nich combo but also make thing harder to hit, since you dont have access to subclass item, they are in most case, not really broken. You can make a way better build by just using your class/sub class item in most case then trying to add something that also need other thing to work correctly.
Sure you can make a pyro + staff of unhealing with massive regain. But you also loose again quick fast dps because you can even reach the 10s mark.
Or you can make a fire staff, cauldron reaper but, pyromancer can do the same.
edit: lol, I had to change it to "free shop roll" in my post, as posting "free" and "roll" without "shop" between them gets censored. I guess because of gambling spam or something?
That's literally not how it works, read stone badge next time its offered.
Might be the only item in the game that works while in backpack the item bin.
Selling the Stone Badge still works if you just want the benefits in the early game. A lot of good builds don't require starting class items either. I don't think the nerfs really hurt it badly, just toned it back to have some level of balance.
