$8 would be perfect for me, even if the devs already set a price.
I want to game to sell, and for the game to be sold, I think around $10 is the fair price for a game like this to be sold.
If it's too expensive, I don't see people buying, that's all.
Did you put into consideration how many customers the game has access potential?
Cheap doesn't mean bad.
Cheap means more players would be in reach of buying from their pocket money.
TripSin,
With my utmost respect to you,
You know anything about "business" & "paywall"?
If people had LOTS OF FUN from the DEMO version, 100+ hours Put-In, what incentives do the players have to spend more than $20 on a "Flash-Like-Content"?
Money doesn't grow on trees you know.
If 100s and 1000s of players played the DEMO version of "Backpack Battles" $10 or even $8 from MANY-MANY players would create heaps of money for them to gain.
We're talking about the 101th Hour or More expected from the players after the purchase.
Think realistically, nobody is going to want to spend more than $15 when you take into consideration that some players might be already satisfied with the DEMO.
If those satisfied players are going to breach the tipping point of paying extra, it should be $8 minimum, $15 maximum.
And for personal opinion of 1 person, I won't be paying $15 when so much of the content & experience had been spoiled from the DEMO.
If you think about it realistically, F2P DEMO & Cash Price Content is completely different.
It's quite naive if you think the majority (like 95% of players) are going to buy the game $20+ just because they've felt thankful for the DEMO, as a token of appreciation.
I want the Developers of Backpack Battles to make money.
I don't want them to ruin a well designed game for being greedy with price.
Kids have no sense of what is valuable today.
I blame it on the fortnites, and tiktoks, and hula hoops!

Doesn't give me more "fun" playing the demo than playing Hearthstone Battlegrounds, which is f2p. Don't think 2 more characters help either. Maybe max USD$5 for creativity.
And keep the demo for f2p players.
Definitely would of bought it for $5 - for the reason you've explained.
