How do I unlock badges?

I know that's how you get them, my question is how to get them to start showing up in the first place. Is it at a certain rank? I'm working my way up through silver on all characters and haven't seen one.

As far as I know it's 25% to find it in the first shop. After that it's 3% every following shop.
So no, you don't have to unlock anything. You just need to be lucky.

There's no unlock. It's just luck based.

You need a stat called "luck", that can't be upgraded, just need pray the RNG gods.

There are no locked items in the game, everything is available from the start. Just luck of the draw, I've never gotten one on the first turn so far.

i was kind of wondering this. Ive played like 2-4 hours since the patch and have yet to see one.

I've encountered half of the badges so far so far, just none on turn one. If it's 25% then I must be having a run of bad luck. Certainly RNG can mean strings of time where 25% means it never happens for 10+ times, but it also can mean you get it every time 3 in a row.

Out of curiosity, has anyone anecdotally gotten a badge on the first turn 3 times in a row?

Now you can't lease a random distribution.
Maybe you just collect other people's 75% and they use your 25%. :D

never saw the stone nor wolve so far, but had the rainbow like 5+ times in maybe 20ish games.

Like everyone said, you either find it by luck on your first shop or you pray RNG god during other game, 25% you can easily have over 10game whitout hitting it on your first round whitout it being too wierd.

Another thing you can do is build a platinium card to try to roll one after. You can still find them randomly as a random unique after the first round.
Wonder if you can have 2 badge with platinum card, never tested...

edit: Just got the Flame Badge on turn 1 as berserker twice in a row. That's RNG for you
