Ice Mage

The build up to Ice Mage needs something in the early-mid stage, before you get your meta-class talisman, to meld with this build. It seems to be very difficult to get there without wasting a lot of money and deaths.

Also.....I get more Ice stuff from the gift box than I do the store.....after about 10 games, I only ever saw two Ice scrolls, and several times I spent 10 gold rerolling just to see what I get. Only ever got one Ice book as well. No, ice dragon (maybe he's crafted....uses ice scrolls, I think...probably).

Definitely needs a balancing pass :-)

You can prepare for the build by gragging ingredients to craft ice stuff but the last ingredient only shows up once you get the ice subclass and we all know how rare ice stuff is, one run you can have 2-3 ice items per refresh and at that point you don't even need crafting, another, most runs you get 0-2 ice items the entire run, including the ice thing you need for crafting.

You can get Ice Dragon from the shop and from crafting, it's very expensive so stock up.

Well, like I said above, once I got the Ice Talisman, I still couldn't get any ice scrolls. Saw BP twice, Sword 3 times, two scrolls and two shields. 10 games, rolling and rerolling over and over.

Oh, and one book.

Last patch seems to have massively increased the chances on ice stuff

They were always reliable to me. Sword>Dragon>Scrolls and book. Rest of ice items don`t worth the inventory space.

There's no doubt that the Ice build is strong.....IF you can get ice things. I was running my Pyro to Diamond and Ice thingy was on sale, so I took it and got my first ice dragon....still only one Ice scroll, though.
