Is there any benefit to it besides 10% unique chance, extra unique owned and debuff reflect? What if I don't care about the uniques, does it give better shopping chances like instead of upgrading an item by 1 tier it upgrades for 2 or more or is it just for uniques and reflect? I'm thinking whenever it's worth investing that gold and 1 space into or not bcs I generally don't care about uniques and the only usefull thing it does seems to be the reflect but that costs extra 4 gold and needs high quality items around.

I kinda wish it retained the regular customer cards abilities. Not like doubled, just the regular rarity bonuses of 1 card + the platinum cards bonuses. I haven't been going for the platinum upgrade much lately, if I'm looking for rarity I'll stick to one card, or just buy a second card without combining them. I'm not saying that platinum card is outright bad, the reflects are cool and uniques can be interesting, I'm just usually okay with getting whatever unique items I get thrown naturally since they can't be relied upon anyways.

Allowing it to keep the regular card's benefits would definitely make me consider crafting it more often. Not sure what the date looks like on their end, but I don't think it would be overpowered. A lot of recipes keep the stats of their component items.

Some recipes do keep their constituent buffs, some don't. Platinum card seems like a high variability item, I personal think it's tuned very well, but only take it unranked
