Backpack Battles

What's your all-time favorite item combo so far???
Mine is with Berserker,
Get the steel jelly pet, and the cheese jelly pet and try to make them proc as much as possible. Some armor to help mitigate damage and give cheese jelly more chance to heal... the steel jelly is just buffing your weapon every time it procs making your get stronger as the fight goes on, and it can potentially be buffing 4 weapons like this, The axes both the normal and double axe as well as the whips can be put on a corner of the steel jelly so it both causes it to charge up for a proc on attack, and to get buffed by the steel jelly when it procs.

If you haven't played around with the steel jelly's I highly recommend, they are super strong once you get them so they are proccing often. For berserker subclass I recommend the knuclkes, the stun helps mitigate incoming damage, giving your jellies more time to get another proc off and your lifesteal more time to replace that lost life, plus the quick speed on the knuckles makes it compliment the jelly perfectly whether you use the knuckles to increase rate of procs, or you buff it with steel jelly and utilize the damage buff for the quick, no stam cost weapon.

Busted blade (the really big one) 2 rubies 2 sapphire 1 corrupted gem 1topaz, anvil with a couple topaz and other crafted gear around it supporting the blade. The damn thing hit like a Mac truck, healed me practically full every hit, and I'm not sure how often opponents does below 30% without dying, or how often the 50% damage bonus reduced their survivability from 2 hits to 1, but it felt good to have in there.

i don't know, every game is different because the drops in the shop are random but i really like the pyromancer so far and i try to have as much health and armor as i can while also to dish out as much damage as i can, i think that's a working strategy.

Just discovered Dragon's Nest with Emerald Dragons. Outclasses even witches in terms of poisoning, let alone damage and healing output.

My favorite combo is a meme no viable build.
If your get the piece it can easily otk someone that has no extra defense.

2 Stone Armor
2 Sun shield (On both armor)
1 Vampiric armor On 1 shield.
1 Dark lantern.

Stone Armor got an effect to give 30% missing life as shield when under 50% life.
+ flat 80 Shield combat start.

Dark lantern and Vampiric Armor proc that effect on combat start by putting you under 50% life (Dark lantern make you loose 50% isn't enough by itself)

Result : You OTK someone in 0.00s of combat.
Add more shield/armor for more damage.

It fun but easily counter and hard to pull off. Thing like helmet, beserker rage, pyro reincarnate all counter it well. (Hard to pass trough 25% less damage and impossible to pass trought dark lantern invulnerability or kill someone almost full life from phenix proc... <-<

I have only played ranger so far since I thought I would try unlocking all recipes first before trying other characters, with how rng is that might be a terrible idea.

But I wish I could remember what combos are amazing, I sit there in the early rounds winning one or 2 then losing 2, then I buy a certain item and bam, I deal over 100 damage and just tank/outheal all damage till I win the survival bonus rounds and I have no idea how it happens

That's really the way the game is played, your opponents don't necessarily scale in difficulty from match to match, went they definitely won't have item continuity, (I'm not sure if it's a match per match rescaling, but between games your previous success/failure will definitely influence the difficulty of your opponents, that's not to say they will never counter your build, but the counters might be less efficiently played, allowing you success when you otherwise would've failed).

It might be that you finally got the item required to make your build work, or maybe you came across an opponent who was still gearing up (a bunch of pigs) or had a weaker grasp of the game mechanics. Or heck maybe you just came across someone you strong countered.

It really is the fun of the game.

Probably Jordan and Pippen

So far I'm loving Burning Banner and Lightsaber. Banner drains buffs for regen and Lightsaber turns regen to blind. Sun Armor can trigger Banner and also blind. It's a pretty consistent build.
