Single potions are usually not overly powerful but with belts and stacks they can be very powerful, also depends on which potion, some builds need poison some need stamina, etc.
Okay thanks i also saw someone doing it so was a bit more clear to seem a bit complicated as potentially the chain of potions can be ruined
@op, potions are, like many items in the game, highly situational. Some builds get by focusing on potions, others might grab one or two if they're on sale. If you find yourself needing just a little bump to win a potion might get you there.
I would suggest staying away unless you want a challenge or bored and feel like you tried everything else. not to say they can't work or aren't particularly good when built properly but its one of the more difficult builds to pull off atm.
otherwise everything that fish guy said is true and picking up a potion on sale is always worth it. since anything you buy on sale sells for the same amount and sometimes they can give that extra boost your build needs.
