So like 3-4 rounds mid-game until you find that second bow or whatever fills the gaps in that build.
Not even worth it to use it as a goobert activation tool. No, you aren't gonna be making it worthwhile with a wooden sword evolution to make it not more than just a d- choice.
Rocks are for potions, early game leftover mana, memes, and maybe recipes I am forgetting about.
The nerf to accuracy down to 60% is pretty rough unless you have a luck build.
If you watch till the last round he discusses what would have happened if he had replaced the bow with more stones if the shop had been more agreeable. The shop does not always give you what you need, and sometimes you have to use what you get.
I think he still could have won the run if he had more stones vs the Bow and arrow to fill that space. Again, most builds will beat stones, but this is showing you what would happen in a stones fight.
If you think the point was to convince you that stones are the way to go, then you missed the point. See if you can find another video where someone takes the time to showcase a crazy build like stones and makes it work as best they can.
