Ripsaw blade seems way too efficient

This standalone item can be worked into most builds and completely hard counters any regen/thorns builds. Worst case it does decent damage so there's no downside. I've stopped going for Bloodthorne at all because you invest a lot to build it and buy support items and then get stomped by a single 10 gold weapon that everyone is buying.

I just beat 18 rounds only coming up against it twice(rounds 10-15 or so) in a holy build, people know about it so they avoid thorns, making owning ripblade permanently somewhat worthless imo

The downside is it costs .9 per second in stamina for a tech option against certain builds. That's almost all your base stamina. The sword itself isn't as strong as other options IF you have synergy in your build which at higher ranks they will.

I've seen it splashed in fatigue builds which is smart because bloodthorne is a counter to fatigue when built properly. I've still beaten decent fatigue ripsaw builds with bloodthorne recently, it just depends on who was able to get the pieces of their build together faster.

Agreed, I don't think there is any item which hardcounters any build harder than Ripsaw counters regen/thorns
