With hades you are talking about a legendary AA studio - we are working on this with 1,5 people. If we can do one thing, and do it well, we are more than pleased with that.
A similar game in the single player space is "Backpack Hero" - maybe it is what you are looking for :)
I don't have any interaction with other players. Nothing they do influences my choices outside of the meta-game.
I'm not sure what the dividing line between single player and multiplayer is, but this is definitely on the single player side of that line.
1. Not a real campaign, almost non-existent story
2. If I recall it was turn based or you had to spam click the weapons
3. 16-bit graphics
It is turn based but there is no spam clicking. Unless your build has wild amount of energy generation you click typically 3 times a turn. And even if you have a click happy build you can just right click and choose Use max times
Yeah and? The sprite work is still wonderfully done for everything. On top of that, the beauty of this sort of graphics makes it easier for modders to sprite up new things while keeping to the game's established art style
I guess a roguelike mode fighting bosses with some effort would be cool but dude you must be drunk with that list of expectations.
What is your obsession with epic cool storyline in an autobattler?
