If you people could use your god given eyes and read (i know very hard) you would have noticed my complaint was done and dealt with a day before you or that other "game is not for you" dudes showed up, which is why i made fun of the first guy, also why im making fun of you.
maybe if your reading comprehension is below third grade this games words might confuse you may i recommend eating sand at the beach instead?
stuff like:
- lock items. to protect them from reroll or even carry them over into next round
- items bought last round CANT appear this round
means if you go for wetstones or gems for example you have to lock them and reroll until you get multiple. else you will skip entire rounds.
- you lose remaining coin
- items on discount sell for their cost, so basicly coin carry-over
so yep its always worth buying discounts even if dont intent to use them.
- locking discounts turns those items into a wallet, to buy them when ever you dont want to waste cash on rerolls.
Sorry but... basically all of this is just plain wrong and I just tested it in unranked.
1. Items bought last round can perfectly appear this round. Just tested it.
2. You don't lose remaining gold at all.
Therefore, locking discounted items is also a dumb idea UNLESS you lack the gold in the current round and what to buy it next round because otherwise you lose one slot or 20% chance for an item you actually want to roll and buy.
Well, but this is also false.
I just tested it. Rolled, bought Healing Herbs, rolled and Healing Herbs appeared in the shop.
To clarify - I rolled ONCE each time, so it was on a consecutive roll that the item appeared again.
All you do by not buying the item you want multiple times instead of locking it is making it LESS likely for it to appear next roll because you lose 1 slot to roll.
The mechanics/tips the guy gave actually would make you MUCH worse if you followed them.
I got suspicious because I'm high platinum at the moment and wondered how I ever got so far if I had basically wasted 20-40 gold per game by saving between roles and even more gold by rolling for items I just bought.
The mouseover over the gold amount you have right now literally says gold carries over.
the dude that starts a game like this with "ima play this build this round" and complains when hes not hitting, instead of playing the game as its supposed to be and play the cards you get handed right
I don't know how the game is written, but I think each player's shop is independent of other players' shops. Your shop generates items based on the round and the items in your current backpack (such as Box of Riches, Deck of Cards, Customer Card etc.) Your shop items are not influenced by opponents' behaviour, as you are only matched with an opponent after leaving the shop.
so both ways is problematic, locking items in shop & buying items if you don't have backpack space
you are waiting for some lucky combo you can use while you waste gold on balast in the inventory.
the better choice is to lock as few things as possible if you don't have gold/space, let go of your wished for builds & roll with your knowledge what could work enough.
still, the game is not well balanced. i am loosing runs on average 3:1
but that said for Ranger. might be the Reaper has stronger options to choose from.
