How to change host?
Hello,
I'm playing with my two friends on co-op, and I'm the host.
The problem is I want to change host to one of my friend. When I gave him a save, he was able to run the game, but on my character (he had my EQ and stuff) and when I wanted to join to lobby, I had only NEW GAME option.
The question is: How to change host, but with keeping our characters? I guess i have to change something in save files, but I don't know what.
Thanks.

Yes, but mainly the problem is we just want to change hosts, because his PC is much better and hosting game for like 4 people on mine affects terrible. IDK why, on Single Player I can play totally normal, no lags, no nothing. Same when I will join other host, but when I'm hosting it is just annoing.
Is there a way to give him a save of the map and give him a host, but with keeping our character EQ? I mean - when I gave him a save file, he was able to host and load game, but he has mine EQ and I was able to join, but only as New Game. We was trying to change that "cs" with each other (that folder is located at The Forest save files) but this doesn't affect too.

So - is there a way to give someone a host with whole map save, but he will keep his character EQ and I will keep mine in this game? Thanks for answers.

Hey, did you manage your problem? We have the same... specially the " - is there a way to give someone a host with whole map save, but he will keep his character EQ and I will keep mine in this game? Thanks for answers."

You need to give him the save file and start playing from the scratch, while he would have your EQ. There is no other way as they never adressed this thing. I'm not playing Forest anymore but as I know they finished developing this game and they are working on something else, so I would not hope for any solution to this issue. :(
