Partner missing items in co-op

Hello, don't know if somebodyalready had this problem before, but I'm hosting a game in co-op mode and my partner, everytime a new game is loaded, loses all his items and weapons... empty bag every time. A couple of months ago this didn't happen. Could this be a bug?

l your friend might have pressed new when he is joining you instead of continue
does it happen when other people join you aswell?

I never played with other people. Just we two. But when we last played in december this didn't happen. We got back playing yesterday after 2 months and now it happens every time

maybe not. But last time I asked her to do it... trying you know... in 20 minutes we'll start another game and see if something has changed

because you as the server host has to save to keep the changes to your inventory and the map and stuff like that but your friend has to savwe to be able to keep all her inventory changes

I have been playing a very long time, co-op and otherwise. i know for a fact both people have to save. but i belive if the server host doesn't save after the player may have done modifications, like new buildings. they may not be there next time. But over 2 years of this game i have never lost a save like that. If they didn't save that is very likely the problem.
