About the paint for wall , shelter , log cabin etc...
I read this in the last QA

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: Will buildings be paint-able with the addition of Paint?

A: We want to and that’s the intention with the paint. Currently we’re trying to solve how exactly this can work. It makes sense to use a small amount of paint to paint a weapon, but collecting enough berries to paint a log cabin is pretty unrealistic. Would love to hear ideas and suggestions about how use of paint could be improved. I think visually, seeing a bright blue log cabin sitting in the world would be pretty cool, but not sure exactly how much sense it makes.

I think its true thats seeing blue log house , etc... could kill a little bit the atmosphere of the game. For more realistic idea , keeping in mind thats its a survival horror.

Maybe we could paint our shelter with blood ? Collect it from dead deer or mutant with the waterskin. Im not thinking about a nice paint , uniform and red but something that look more ''tribal'' to make the mutant more afraid of coming . Long slice of blood , covering the log house or something more like primitive paint that you see in some cave in africa etc... you could add some of the paint make with berry to the blood , to try to change the color a little bit.

Another thing about shelter or log cabin , its not really paint. But maybe we could ''upgrade'' a shelther or log house by adding leaf to it , for more discretion. Like the stealth armor made with lizard skin and leaf , but apply it to shelther , defensive wall etc... To be honest is the same situation in real life , i would really think about making my camp the more camo as i can. Or maybe if you really just wanna find some way to use the paint that you can already craft , using cloth on a water collector full of paint to help you make the camo.

That give you 2 different way , that could be realistic of ''painting'' ''or changing the look '' of your camp , one more agressive and another one more focus on discretion. And as a player that give you 2 total different way of dealing with the danger of the forest , that gonna change the way npc react when they find your base , you have to make a choice. Its more fun , than just collecting blueberry to get a blue log cabin for no purpose.

Working on something that gonna change the look of your camp should really have a purpose in a survival situation , otherway that don't really make sense and it's a waste of usefull energy and time.

My main language is french , not english , so keep it in mind as you read this.
