Everyone wants to see some new hostile wildlife (bears, wolves, snakes ect.) and be able to come across the cannibals fighting with them. Hopefully one day we will get to see something like that. There's a long list of important gameplay mechanics that need attention long before this though IMO.
+1 on the having crocs attack cannibals. I built a elevated fort on a crocodile spawn point for just those reasons and was a bit disappointed when they ignored the cannibals.
On another note, the crocodiles swim animation is STILL broken. They currently swim in the dirt at the bottom of the lake rather than cruise along the surface (like crocodiles) like they did when they were first introduced. Shame. They looked really cool in the torchlight swimming toward your raft at night. Been glitched for a while though.
