You can throw extra money/leaves on to increase the duration to a point. But I think this is the perfect oppertunity to finally allow the player to just add sticks and even chopped logs (chop fallen logs which can then be picked up and carried in a bundle in your arms like firewood and stored in a firewood basket) to greatly increase the fire's burning time.
Ok then, game-wise, why not just ask for fire to have a longer duration without having to add a new model?
Who tries to keep a fire going with just leaves and money? Definitely not a survival expert lol.
