I hope to see once multiplayer is implemented that we can play with non-VR users!
advantages - ya we can swing fast and it doesnt appear like we are doing anything to a non-VR player.
disadvantages - we cant block, persoanlly I dont see this as an issue but my friends do. Biggest disadvantage IMO is we have no HUD. we cant see where things are in the distance, your home or other players. this is another thing I personally love but as far as playing with non-VR players Id put it as disadvantage
As far as disabling VR for some servers goes, I can agree with that one. Personally I have never played the forest for PVP, and I likelly never will. It has always been a coop experiance with me and my group of friends. That being said, people obviously play differently. I do hope they add blocking to VR. Hopefully it will balance out the rapid swinging stuff. I also think having that IK rig to show a VR players movement will also help a non VR player counter that kind of rapid swinging in PVP.
ya all you have to do is have the non-VR player host a peer-peer game. does not work in dedicated servers for some reason. but non-VR sends invite to VR player and boom, you all are in same game. I believe the VR player needs to be in the game lobby in VR before the invite gets sent out also.
