Xbox/keyboard controls for VR

Like a few people around here I prefer playing long games seated with a gamepad. I played the Solus Project that way and thoroughly enjoyed it.

In the Forest VR, the game almost has the full xbox control set, you can move around with a controller as you would in the 2D version. But if you aren't using vive wands, you can't see your hands.

Could we have the option for complete old school controls, please? I am not a dev but I think it wouldn't be a ton of work considering it exists already in the main game.

Not everyone has motion controls, so gamepad support would allow people not on vive/oculus (GearVR, Pimax etc) to enjoy the game too.

Yep, seated is the way to go for long VR gaming sessions. I have also played the Solus Project in VR with mouse and keyboard, and it works really well.

Disappointed to see that the new update actually removes the old movement bindings entirely. A step backwards in my opinion. Why limit the game to motion controls?

Can I up this? I don'T have touch controllers and i'd like to still be able to play in VR using my xbox controller... Thanks in advance

Bump! Controlpad works fine in 2D in vr the vrcontroller takes over. Would be great if there was an off switch in the menu.

Bump... Just spent 3 hours getting PSVR set up, bought Trinus for this game and then found out I can't play it in VR because there is no gamepad support.

Agreed. Love the game but vr controls are real buggy. You can play sitting down. I really prefer playing with a game pad, I feel using motion controllers in a complex game is holding vr back and makes games seem gimmicky. Leave motion controls for simple games like beatsaber and long bow.

Can anyone tell me how to play this game with a controller. Everything works perfectly fine until I launch game in VR, then only the oculus touch controllers work
