Another fun way is to chop a tree down so that it falls on your strucure.
Maybe having something similar like the repair tool, some kind of "removal tool".
With that equipped, you see which part of the structure is selected and then hold button for a longer time to remove.
Especially if you're in creative mode it sometimes get's tedious to get the buildings right.
Having to chop down every wrongly built structure can take quite a while, so some sort of "remove tool" would be a nice to have.
Cheers
You can always toggle it on/off to destroy unwanted parts yet protect it from everything else.
I don't play IronForest mode, so I don't run into the same problem. Since you have to hit a structure with a repair tool to fix it, it would be consistent to expect that a dismantle tool would work the same way. In a case like this, you're essentially asking for a new tool to do something we already have tools to do simply because you don't want to turn an alternate setting back off.
