Cold and Wet - Inside a cabin???
How can I get cold and wet when it starts to rain and I am inside a cabin? If you are in a shelter and it starts to rain you should not get wet!

I don't get cold at night in the cabin, it ONLY occurs when it rains, and the fact that I am in the cabin means that I should not get wet, and therefore, not cold.

The rain is the trigger to get you to build a fire and attract someone or something to investigate. If everything was watertight you would,nt interact at night. ;)

You think that is bad?
You also get cold and wet when you are in a cave at night and it starts raining.

Not really. All you need to do is move around at least every 6 seconds to avoid any real effect from the cold. If they want you to light fires they should give a real reason to be afraid of the dark instead of a bit of harmless rain.

Have you ever stood in a cold area with a ramshackle home with open windows and giant door seams? I get the cold, but agree the wet part needs addressing. The same way going into water should only make you wet during daytime and not cold and wet.

They don't make you either. During the day you are always dry. If you are wet at night you instantly dry at dawn, removing any cold in the process (unless you are in the snow of course).

If you mean you should be able to get wet during the day and have to wait for a time to dry off, then yeah. That makes sense.
