The Forest on Nintendo Switch?

Hey guys,
I was thinking maybe The Forest would be an awsome game to play on nintendo switch.
I know it's quite a lot to ask but hey, I think it would be absolutely awsome
what do you guys think, please let me know!!!

Once it's in full release it's possible although it's probably more likely it'll end up on the Xbone and PS4

Not sure the graphics of the switch could handle it, but I could be wrong, not sure this kind of game is up Nintendos alley, again though, I could be wrong.

I'm willing to support this topic, but the small development team already struggles to meet twenty day update goals and they are planning to make a PlayStation4 Edition of the game which will be supported and get the same updates as the PC Edition. Then it should be XBOX ONE, then iMac/Linux and then they are done and just need to support all within fifteen days (ish). :)

The Switch is fully capable of running it. My 10 year old laptop can run it 720p medium settings 50-40 fps. The Switch runs circles around it (Except with storage space and ram) and the Switch is almost as powerful as the Xbox one. Its definately possible. I'd pick it up in a heartbeat.

Also Doom is on the Switch, and that is much more violent. I don't think Nintendo cares about how violent games are anymore. After all there is a game in japan where you can use the joycons to grab anime tiddies.

They’ll have to nerf the ♥♥♥♥ outta the graphics, but I think the switch can handle The Forest. Oh and you probably wouldn’t be able to make giant forts and castles. I’d honestly consider buying The Forest again for the switch if it ever happens, would be a nice game to play on the go without having to lug around a bulky laptop.

I don't own any newer consoles, but apart from some tweaks I don't see why it couldn't be ported across to the Nintendo Switch.

there indeed is no need, but if there are many people that want the game on switch, and the console is capable of running it (which I think it is). I don't see any real reason why not...

Yeah, but even if people want it, there's still a chance that it might not happen

Nintendo switch sales topped 15 million last month... and still selling well. There really isn't that many great games on it yet. If you have a good product, get it on the switch asap and you will barely have any competition.

Now is the time to port your game before all the big boys do it and you game will just get lost somewhere far down the list.

The Forest would be cool, Switch is still on fire, and even Green Hell released recently on Switch.
