Can't Swing Axe

After getting ready to shoot something with my bow, I right clicked to put down the bow then switched to my axe. I pressed the left mouse button and nothing happened, same with other melee weapons.

Yeah, I have the same issue.

I have reported this as a bug too, but you solve it by shooting an arrow...wastfully probably :)

It may be a bug related to the bow. If you take aim and abort the shot using R-click this affects the axe swing. Shoot an arrow and this may fix it.

Same problem here. I also tried changing which weapon I was holding: the bow was fine and I could fire more arrows, but all axes were "frozen", and firing more arrows didn't fix it. I could pick up and throw items like rocks and tennis balls fine. Saving, exiting to main menu, and continuing fixed the issue for me.

Srpent: In fact, for me swinging became unavailable after crafting a bow and shooting some arrows. It is pretty annoying.
