Unable to unequip lighter or flash light

As title says, once I equip a lighter or flash light, I am not able to unequip it. Unless there is another key to do so, I'm not sure how to take it off.

I can't unequip the compass. G only puts away my main hand weapon. i used to use my thumb as aimer for my spear, but now i cant.
