VR - Game gets darker over time until almost unplayably dark.
When playing in VR, I've noticed a bug both outdoors at night and in caves where the brightness level slowly lowers until I can't see more than a couple feet in front of myself, even with a light source or on a brightly moonlit night. I've found that going into the options menu and back to the game temporarily fixes this but the lighting level slowly gets too dark again. I'm sorry to say I don't really know the cause, but I tend to have my lighter or a torch out when I notice it happening, so is it something to do with player eye adaptation? I'm in DX11 mode with night/cave brightness set to almost half way up the bar if that matters at all.

Can agree. Same Problem here. Go to the steamVR Menu and back to the game also resets the lighting.

Could you please list your specs and Drivers? They might help us track this down as I am having trouble reproducing this issue.

I've had this issue multiple times too in VR. Simply opening and closing the survival guide seems to fix it.

Does changing Eye adaptation from dx11 to the other setting prevent this?

I've noticed if you pull out the survival guide it does the same thing (resets the lighting). Also - please enable SteamVR keyboard so we can join private games!! Very important.

In both Legacy and DX11 I was getting extremely dark nights, to the point that I could hardly see a bonfire 15 meters in front of me.

But after turning my Contrast all the way down to zero in the DX11 settings, it seemed to fix my vision issues. Not sure if this will help anyone else, but I figured I'd post it.
