Frustrating Catapult problem.

Our crew is building a water base (around the yacht). And as the catapults were introduced into the game, we thought it was an amazing way to defend/enjoy ourselves whenever we saw cannibals passing by on the beach. So we went and built a catapult on the edge of our base, only to come to the conclusion that its range was very limited and didn't even reach the shoreline. No problem we thought, we will just build a platform as high as possible and place the catapult on top of it. After realising we also needed an entire staircase to carry up the logs ( whoops ) and having built said staircase with countless trips on our log holder raft, the time was finally ripe. We built our catapults on top of the giant defense tower. Surely we would be king of the forest, raining rocks and molotovs as far as the eye could see (or as far as our computers could render, whatever). Luckily we saw a patrol passing by on our beach, what a great way to start our reign with catapults! As we mounted our long range weapons, we all noticed the same thing... There was no way of aiming, because you could only look straight in front of you and slightly below.. We tried blindly firing at max range to see how far our rocks would fling! As we shot our catapults fiercely, we saw 3 rocks falling almost straight down... What we feared had become reality, the range didn't increase.. The rocks still couldn't reach the shoreline.. Our crew was so devastated after this news, that it resulted in mass suicide. We all plunged to our deaths off our giant defense (just a really,really high platform after the news ofcourse). With tears in our eyes we look upon our savegame, and await the patch to fix this. Please fix this, we worked so hard.

TL;DR Catapults range doesn't increase if you build it super high up and you can't aim properly when it's there.

WOW! Thanks for posting this. Now I know better than to create my catapult haven where im building. Guess I wont be flinging my molotovs as such... but we can still use the platforms as a defense!
