Caves don't load pls help

BUG REPORT TEMPLATE
Ok so I play with my friend on a server (non dedicated but might make it dedicated). All was well until we decided to get the rebreather where the cave straight up refuses to load for me. I think I had this happen with the katana cave but that was on another world and a server restarted fixed it. This bug refuses to be fixed. My friend has nor problems with it and I can not do anything to fix it. We can not complete the game without the rebreather so please help. We have made a lot of progress and do not want to lose it.

Path:
(The cave somewhat near the great tree. The cave where you get the rebreateher)

Description:
(Cave does not load in. When I climb down the rope I can see the trees and the grass above me while im in the cave. I see a stone flat floor far below me when I climb. When I climb back up the rope I climb infinitely and the only way to get back on the surface is to climb up into the air, climb back down to where the rope starts and spam the space bar.)

Expected result:
(If the bug was not there I should be able to climb down into the cave and see the cave walls, and the cave floor and I should not be able to see the surface above myself.)

Repro rate:
(Forever. This is the problem I can not get rid of it no matter what I do so it messes me up infinitely)

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Grab onto the rope and climb down into the cave (now i can see the bugged cave)
2.Climb back up the cave (now i can climb infinitely into the air)

Note:
I used ModAPI for my entire playthrough and only got rid of it today due to my FPS being so low (i have a laptop with a bad graphics card but im upgrading my graphics card in hopefully 2 weeks) Along with the cave glitch I was able to walk on the surface of the ocean which caused me to not be able to get on top of the boat. I am not sure if that is still the case as I got rid of ModAPI but I will just assume yes.

OS(and build): Windows 10 Pro. Version 2004(OS Build 19041.508)
GPU: Im not sure which one is the GPU so i will list both. Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 | NVIDIA GeForce 940MX
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 Ghz
Ram: 12.0 GB (11.9 GB usable)

Please help I can not progress with this bug.

i verified the files, messed around wit the saves, nothing worked

try do this go to thr game properties then on set launch options and type in force d3d9

and lest see if it works
