where can i see the version of the game?

If u have concerns, just verify the game and it will update. If u dont know how, then to do that, u go to your steam game library, right click The Forest, properties, local files and verify files there. If it downloads anything it is now up to date, if it didnt... the game was already up to date. :)

As well, in the bottom right of the main menu it should state BUILD ID: 3388671

That is the latest update and the number of 'patches' that have come across in the last couple of days - atleast according to my rig - and I have all the stuff from the update right where it should be ;)
