If the sound of the forest is not muted.

Edit: maybe the volume solver? You can acces this by right clicking on the volume icon.

Alright. Can I get you to go to your 'Gameplay' options section, and reduce the game's 'Voice Count'? This may help.

If Metamoths fix didnt work. Right click the windows sound icon, bottom right of desktop. Playback devices, right click Speakers or whatever has a green circle with a white tick in it. Properties and go to the Advanced tab in that window. Now change the default format to "24-bit, 24000Hz (Studio Quality)". Now try the game. If that didnt work, go back to the same area, this time untick or tick, depending which it is already, do the opposite the "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device". Now try?

theres no "24-bit, 24000Hz (Studio Quality)" but theres "24-bit, 48000Hz (Studio Quality)", 96000 and 192000

tried to untick "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" and then opened the game. still no sound.

Hmm driver needs updated or reinstalled for the sound? I know, "But it doesnt have issues in other games" but that doesnt matter and it wont do any harm installing it again. Find out what one you have, probably "Realtek"? Download the latest driver from your manufacturer, whoever they are. Right click the windows sound icon again, playback devices, right click speakers, this time in the General tab, click properties there. Now click Change Settings (might want Admin perms), now click Drivers tab, "Uninstall device" at the bottom. Once its complete, now install the newest ones u already downloaded. Does that work now?

If not, go see if it has the "24-bit, 24000Hz (Studio Quality)" now?
