"Explore Hanging Cave" doesn't trigger

So my friend and I played through the game and are currently busy with finishing off the remaining achievements, chopping trees and stuff like that. We also decided to finally get the Spelunker achievement, but after some running around we noticed that the "Explore Hanging cave" entry in the to do list is missing. We ran through the cave multiple times, tried different entries but for some reason it just won't trigger. We did complete every other cave, also Cave 4.

Interestingly, I started a SP game not long ago, switched back to it to double check the haning cave and I didn't have the entry as well, even though I already got the map and also got suicided once, still no entry. I did enter Cave 4 beforehand by mistake, so I have the "Keep exploring hanging cave" in the to-do list.

Any way to get the complete the cave in our co-op game or even get it in singleplayer now or are we just unlucky and got a mean bug?

The Achievements in this game are currently very buggy.

You know that cave 4 is connected to cave 2 and only 1 entrance triggers survival book to add info, right? (many of the entrances will unlock nothing)

We checked every entrance, multiple times. Went out of them and back in again. It's pretty weird that just one entrance triggers it though. We turned that cave upside down by now.

Even the part where is virginia and infinite amount of bodies?
The top of the rope there should trigger the book, if not... then devs screwed stuff again.

Then it seems like they screwed up. Cause we definitely used that rope where Virginia is, even twice. I also doubt that Cave 4 (keep exploring hanging Cave) triggers the cave 2 entry (explore hanging Cave).

Nope the last update was dec 11th and I didn't buy the game until the end of the christmas sale, like Jan 3rd and it worked for me

"keep exploring hanging cave" triggered for me as soon as I walked into a seperate cave section on the left after entering hanging cave main entrance

Nope the last update was dec 11th and I didn't buy the game until the end of the christmas sale, like Jan 3rd and it worked for me

Multiplayer and Singleplayer acutally. Game files are fine, also my friend who's the host has the exact same problem. "Keep exploring hanging cave" triggered and is crossed off, "explore hanging cave" doesn't even appear on the list. We started playing after the newest update. Hanging cave was the very first cave we entered, for obvious reasons, maybe something bugged out on my friend's end who is the host, although that doesn't explain why I didn't get it in SP. But I might not have used the correct entrance in SP, I just got the map and also suicided once to test it. (to no avail)

Is there a proper bug report system? I would like to let the devs know, since we also discovered a different bug with the hang glider.

I thought you have hanging cave and missing the "keep exploring"...
The entrance which triggers hanging cave is totally not obvious, it's the least used one, if you gimme moment then I will be able to find coordinates for this entrance.

The coordinates for hanging cave are: -174 54 1022

Thanks, but we checked every crack and every exit, entrance, whatever. Trust me, EVERYTHING. That or we were completely blind and actually forgot that one. So we'll just check it out again I guess. I also just did it in SP, so I am able to get the entry, but maybe our MP save just bugged out for some reason, wouldn't be the first time weird ♥♥♥♥ happens.

The triggers are horrible though, why do I need to approach one specific entry. Finding all entries for completion of the cave is absolutely understandable, but for getting it on the list in the first place doesn't make sense in the slightest. The Forest? More like cave-diving simulator :D Luckily it's a pretty harmless bug.

You might need to walk a little outside of entrance and then enter cave and exit it again.

those devs have many odd ideas...

like all kill on multi go to host, so host can't do vegan or 10 no killing days, but every client can cheese those achievements killing everything at the same time.

10 no killing days is easy if ya are busy working on a building project, especialy on the water where they can't get to you

just avoid collecting the supplies ya need at night and do it in the day time

cannibals tend to suicide randomly and kill + eat each other.
on singleplayer all kills go to you, it doesn't matter if they kill each other or suicide -> you killed them.
also without cheats the cannibals attack at day too :D
