the forest dev consloe not opening

me and a friend cant get our consoles to open i have 1 time before but will not open enymore to activate developer mode i would like to know if i can get a fix or if the devs can look into this issue if anyone has a similar problem and found a fix please share

type developermodeon in the main menu.

If you type: developermodeon and after that press f1 or f2 a console should appear.

what do you mean i never unbinded anything
it worked 2 times now i got it to open out of the blue but the button wont work 99% of the time

make sure to hit "enter" right after you type in the command for developermode

No need to hit "enter"
Host has to enable cheats in the options. (Client might do so too anyway)
After that type in the word of mightyness and you're good to go.
If it's not working something's broken. Verify game files and come back.
