Artifact Ball

I can no longer place the artifact ball, I have 2 active on the map already and 1 in the inventory, The game has now stopped me from placing the 3rd artifact ball or picking up any others that have already been placed. any help appreciated.

I had the same problem, if you use the command *removeitem 294* (in the developer console (type *developermode* in main title screen, press F1 and type) , the ball will be removed from your inventory and you can pick the other one up again.

how did you place second ball into the world o-O?
the limit was 1 per world ;-;

and as hack mentioned you can't pick up it when inventory is full ;d
