Some TREE STUMP's not removing

I don't know if it's intentional but I seem to only be able to get rid of a few tree stumps at a time. Can sit there and whack the stump for a while and nothing happens.

I've noticed this too. I'm OCD about stump removal, but some stumps just won't die.

However, I have also noticed that sometimes reloading the game (e.g. after saving and coming back) will cause previously unbreakable stumps to become breakable again. But this isn't always reliably true - I have one stump at my base that has remained invincible for like a dozen game sessions.

If it matters, I have tree regrowth off in the options.

I have this too; kept forgetting to report it as I would just move on and forget it

I turned regrowth on and so far, I have not run into any more invincible stumps.
