stuck infront the artifact after i put megan in the thingy, cant move or do anything. any ideas

after you put her inside she should drop down and golden keycard should drop off her hand.

pick up it and lead to door that are to the right of artifact (right when you face the artifact) and open them with keycard

i family share it with my alt account but i have bought the game twice, why does it matter?

DId you try to verify game files?
Does it happen every single time you put her there?



It is possible to bypass placing her into obelisk with commands. (spawn golden keycard, if you don't like cheating then you can kill the boss and then spawn keycard so it is basically legit, just don't pick her)

Same issue just occurred on our multiplayer game. Any ways to fix this bug?

I normally only play MP, so I've only really had this happen in MP. There have been some fixes, but there have also been times it couldn't be fixed at all. Sometimes in MP, having someone hit you or down you then pick you back up can sometimes break you out of it. If you take no damage when they hit you while you are stuck like that though, that one we haven't figured out how to fix. Even console stopped working for them at that point so they couldn't even teleport out or try to force a different interaction or something to break it. All they could do at that point was reload at that last save point just before the end area...which was unfortunate since they were the host.

Though to be fair, that last one might have been a little bit our fault...he didn't get stuck on the animation to put her in the artifact like everyone else did. He instead duped her and carried her all the way to the final decision and ended up freezing on that animation instead (He was trying to see if it was possible to leave with her).

ending animation with her body lying somewhere would be interesting
they could replace one of the logs with her body and just chop her :D

Hi, I had the same issue with my mate, what worked for us was standing as far away as we possibly could to put the girl in. If you stand to close you get stuck.
