Unable to drop animal heads

so my plane axe has a shark head attached to it now some how....Pretty sure it's a bug, makes game unplayable since i can't attack or do anything while the game thinks i am holding a shark head but I can't drop the shark head now even when i equipt other items, press g repeatedly or even die. Please help?

yes and he just holds the head in one hand and swims like he isn't holding it. Now a tennis ball is stuck there too and I can't throw it away :'(

okay saving the game and quiting to the main menu an reloading the save game got rid of it but now i am scared of picking up tennis balls or animal heads :(

ah well, so are most of us; since we are usually trying to grab the rock/cloth/herb/whatever right next to it :P

Okay i tried picking up another animal head and it seems to be fixed...i hope it stays that way XD
