My repair tool doesn't work

When canibals destroy the part of my build i can't repair it.Early i don' have problems with that.

The repair tool can be a little finicky sometimes. Sometimes you have to adjust the way you are angled for it to actually work, other times it seems to derp out entirely but I find that switching to another item and then back to repair tool often fixes that. If you have builds that are somewhat phased into each other (as in they overlap) it may also have trouble repairing the one that is actually damaged as it ends up hitting the other piece instead. If it is still swinging when you click then it should be working though, so you may just want to hold the click to keep swinging and move around the damaged part until you see the repair bar starting to fill. If it isn't swinging at all, and switching to another item doesn't seem to help, you could also try making a weapon rack to put the repair tool on and either picking it back up to try again or making another one once it's out of your inventory.
