Connection timed out co op.

I can’t join or host a co op game. Either my friend times out or I do. We can both join a dedicated server. Restarting steam hasn’t helped.

repair the game go to your library find the game right click on it go to properties then local files then check game files integrity

Well the one difference you pointed out is that when you connected directly, you time out. When indirectly with a dedicated server, you dont. So that points to one or both of you having either a firewall, anti-virus, etc blocking you or a more complex issue. However, it could even be as simple as restarting your router or let your host load into the map and invite or get to lobby, invite, wait till all in Lobby, then start.
