Game does not launch in full screen and launches to white screen in windowed.
Hi, I searched the forums and can't seem to find anything about it, so here is my issue.

I used to be able to play this game. Yesterday in fact. Now when I go to launch it I get a white screen, no matter the resolution chosen in widowed mode. If I launch full screen, nothing displays.

I have verified the integrity of my game cache, as well as restarted my computer and I uninstalled and re-installed. I tried running as Administrator from file location, both 32 bit and 64 bit. I also disabled my anti virus, even though it was running before when the game was working.

I didn't have any updates for my PC either. I'm at a loss. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Although its normally a black screen, maybe you have this issue. A lot of people seem to have suddenly gotten this issue, dunno why. But those that fixed it have changed one of the following in the graphics settings in Nvidia/AMD control panel.
  • Changing the refresh rate from 60Hz to 59Hz.
  • Changing to "Maintain Aspect Ratio" in settings.
  • Changing the "Scaling Mode" in settings.
Does one of those work?

Huh, I couldn't find those settings in the GeForce Experience panel, however I did see that for some reason Nvidia registers two copies in the same file location? in either case those settings didn't match, so I changed them to match each other and now it's working. In any case thanks for your quick response and helpful solutions!

I know u fixed it, but for future reference. You are looking in the Nvidia Control Panel right? From the icons in the toolbar. Its in "Display" then "Change Resolution" for the 59Hz refresh rates. The other is in the "Adjust desktop size and position".

Also, if u have 2. You may want to fix that lol. Download the latest Nvidia drivers and do a Custom Install. Then tick the "Clean Install" box. That should clean that up, i hope. :KOh:
